I’m an architect, engineer, innovator and design leader bringing together the best of different industries to solve unusual design challenges and build an inspiring future. In 2025 I founded The Space Age, a multidisciplinary architecture and design practice.

In previous roles, I worked on landmark architectural projects around the world, helped develop the design of the Orbital Reef space station, and contributed to systems and life support engineering on the Blue Moon Crew Lander supporting NASA’s Artemis program.

My design approach blends creativity and idealism with pragmatism and technical rigor; I believe designing for the future depends on both. I thrive when I’m solving unusual challenges and specialize in exploring edge cases, and inventing prototypes. I work with mission-driven clients who are trying to accomplish something that goes beyond the ordinary.

I'm a graduate of the CU Boulder aerospace engineering program in bioastronautics, the University of Oregon College of Design’s architecture program, and the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs. I’m also the Vice Chair of the AIAA Space Architecture Technical Committee and co-chair of the International Conference for Environmental Systems Session 502: Space Architecture. I am a licensed architect in the state of Washington.
