Center for the Study of Russian Icons

Conceptual design for a building housing gallery space, art restoration, and cultural center. The rich historical context of Russian icons establishes a personal relationship for viewers that expresses itself throughout this project. Building organization creates several layers between the city and the main gallery to protect and intensify this relationship.
